iPod Shuffle. You know you want one…
Don’t you hate it when you are looking for something and you can’t find it? And then months later you find it when you’re looking for something else?? And then months later you found what you were looking for when you found the other thing?
Well, guess what I just found?
A brand new 2nd generation iPod Shuffle!!
It was meant for a gift last year but since it was so neatly tucked away where “wandering eyes” wouldn’t see it…. Oh, who am I kidding!! I hid it so well, that even I couldn’t find it, so when it came time for gift giving, I ended up buying another one. ~sigh~
Too bad for me because now I have an iPod Shuffle on my hands.
Awesome for you because now you can get your hands on my iPod Shuffle!
Don’t you just love how these things work themselves out?
This is how easy-peasy it’s gonna be for you to get music to your ears:
All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me what one of your favorite songs is and what memory you have associated with that song. Then this Friday, I will use the true random number generator from www.random.org to pick the winner!
I’ll start you off. One of my favorites is “Truly, Madly, Deeply” by Savage Garden because it makes me think of when my hubby and I first met and we’d talk on the phone for hours upon hours. It reminds me how incredible our new love was, and still is.
Oh I can’t wait! This is going to be sooo much fun!
So, go ahead! I’m anxiously awaiting your answers……

Bust A Move by Young MC….It reminds me of the summer I hang out with a bunch of rednecks drinking moonshine and riding in jeeps. True story. It was a weird summer. Moonshine and rap aren’t ususally associated with each other. Neither are princess’s and jeeps…

HUNG out…not HANG out….I do know how to speak correct grammar…despite the summer with rednecks.

I do love bust a move. But there are so many others to love! Mother Mother! (I thought that one would be appropriate) I’m a bit all over the place, Whiter shade of Pale, anything by Jason Mraz.
By the way, comment on my blog today and I’ll give money to my local library!

Oh my gawd, that is SO something I would do! I love it! And yay for your readers!
I have so many songs I could list.
Let’s go w/ Cake’s The Distance. Brings me way back to college. Before kids, single and money to spend. Sigh.

True, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a princess in a jeep, but I feel like one even in my FJ Cruiser (no recalls yet-keep your fingers crossed) Sounds like you had some really good times back in those moonshine-with-the-rednecks days!

Ha – found you through Twitter, couldn’t resist the contest.
“Beautiful Day” by U2 – reminds me of the day my daughter was born.
